ABSTRACT: Deforestation damage is commonly detected by INPE's monitoring systems. It is noteworthy that forest burning produces extensive problems for the population. In 2021, 48.255 environmental damages were mapped, representing a total of 17.459.17 km². During this period, meteorological satellites accounted for 1.821,321 active fires, which are commonly related to the deforestation classes. With the CR class representing around 78% of alerts issued, distributed mainly among the states of PA (14,394), AM (7,758), RO (6,106), AC (4,029) and MT (3,964). Of the total number of active fires, the state of PA presented 550,797, followed by MT with 388,832, AM with 363,232 and RO with 298,018. Therefore, it is possible to infer in the present study that the anthropic participation detected by DETER-AMZ during the initial trajectory of use and occupation in the Amazon presents a flow of intervention that intensifies between the months of August and October.
